MLP AG Supervisory Board extends Gerhard Frieg’s contract

Wiesloch, 11th May 2007 – In a unanimous vote, the MLP AG Supervisory Board has appointed Gerhard Frieg to the MLP AG Board of Directors for a further five years until 18th May 2012. The 50-year old is responsible for the company division product management and purchasing.

Gerhard Frieg studied law at the universities in Giessen, Heidelberg and
Bochum and began his professional career in 1987 as an MLP Consultant. Thereafter he worked as an MLP branch office manager for two years in Düsseldorf before moving to the MLP head office in 1993 as authorised
signatory and sales director. Gerhard Frieg has been a member of the Board of Directors at different MLP subsidiaries since 1995 and a member of the Board of Directors for the holding company since 1999.
