MLP has strategically positioned itself as an independent, forward-looking consulting firm in the German market. We are striving to build on and expand our market position and sustainably increase our company value – for the benefit of our clients, employees, consultants and shareholders.

We strive to further enhance our strong market position through the implementation of a clear strategy that is focussed on the growth markets of old-age provision, health insurance and wealth management – as well as by pursuing further acquisition possibilities. In addition to fully exploiting our sales potential we also intend to continue to implement our strict cost discipline measures in order to achieve our goal for 2012 - an EBIT margin of 15%.

The MLP Group manages total assets under management of more than € 18,7 billion and supports more than 760,000 private and 4,000 corporate clients. We place great emphasis on excellent consulting – an aspect which is highlighted by our cross-selling rate of more than 7 products per client.

Thanks to the relatively low capital intensity of its business model as well as to its great financial strength (equity ratio of over 28% and excellent liquidity), MLP is able to distribute almost 100% of net profit from continuing operations.

The positioning of the company during the past 40 years as an independent, broad-based consulting house with a full banking license greatly strengthens MLP’s position in the German financial services market. In addition to our private clients business, we now also focus heavily on our business with corporate clients and institutional investors.
